What are we looking for?
Senior QA Automation / Manual Tester with experience to spearhead quality initiatives within the Property & Casualty (P&C) domain. The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Homeowners (HO) product rollouts, combining masterful manual testing with sophisticated automation of Web and API layers. You will leverage your high-level knowledge of Agile SDLC and CI/CD integration to ensure the reliability of complex insurance workflows across multiple states.

Responsabilities
Analyze business, functional, and technical requirements focusing on insurance workflows such as quoting, underwriting, and billing.
Design, document, and execute manual test cases and test data for web and API-based applications.
Develop, maintain, and execute automated test scripts using industry-standard frameworks to support scalable releases.
Validate end-to-end insurance transactions across multiple states, ensuring compliance with state-specific rules.
Execute API testing and validate complex data exchanges across internal systems and third-party integrations.
Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to enable continuous quality and faster feedback loops.
Log, track, and validate defects using tracking tools, collaborating closely with Development and Product teams.
Participate actively in sprint planning, backlog refinement, and daily stand-ups to ensure release readiness.
Requirements
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 12 years in manual and automation testing. Mandatory domain expertise in Property & Casualty (P&C) insurance, validating full policy lifecycles, billing cycles, and system integrations within Agile/Scrum environments.
Technical Skills
Automation Frameworks: Selenium, Playwright, TestNG, or JUnit.
API Testing: Postman, REST Assured, and RESTful web services (JSON).
Programming Languages: Java, JavaScript, or TypeScript.
Performance & Load Testing: JMeter.
CI/CD & Source Control: Jenkins and Git.
Databases: Advanced SQL (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL).
Test Management & Agile Tools: JIRA, TestRail, Zephyr, and Confluence.
