Your Impact – Key Responsibilities for Senior Business Analyst (Remote LATAM)
- Work closely with stakeholders to elicit and document detailed business and functional requirements.
- Analyse business processes, identify gaps, and make recommendations for improvements and optimisation.
- Transform data and stakeholder input into actionable business insights to support decision-making.
- Act as a trusted partner between business units, technical teams, and project managers to ensure requirements are clearly understood and implemented.
- Develop user stories, process maps, and business cases to support new initiatives and ongoing projects.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practices within the analysis process, ensuring clarity and engagement throughout the project lifecycle.
- Support testing and user training to ensure successful delivery and adoption of solutions.
- Document processes, deliverables, and recommendations in a clear, concise, and accessible manner.
What you need to succeed – Senior Business Analysis Experience & Business Process Improvement Skills
- At least 4 years of experience as a Business Analyst in tech-oriented environments, with proven experience in the banking industry (required).
- Demonstrated experience in eliciting, documenting, and validating requirements for large, complex projects.
- Strong ability to analyse business workflows, data, and processes to drive tangible improvements.
- Skilled in requirements management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence, Trello) and general office suite (Excel, PowerPoint, etc.).
- Experience working with multidisciplinary teams across Latin America or globally.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (Intermediate+ level); proficiency in Spanish is a strong plus.
- Proactive attitude, critical thinking, and a focus on user and stakeholder experience.
Nice to Have – Advanced Business Analyst Capabilities & Industry Knowledge
- Certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA or similar.
- Exposure to Agile, Scrum, or Lean methodologies.
- Understanding of digital transformation initiatives or software development life cycle (SDLC).
- Familiarity with data analysis or visualisation tools (Power BI, Tableau, etc.).
- Experience in industries such as fintech, healthcare, or telecommunications is a plus.
